Expand Your Expectations

The year 2022 brought with it both blessings and lessons that not only helped me grow as an individual but that also  helped me draw closer to God and you know what I learnt: when you have God at your center that is the foundation where one  draws peace, truth and understanding then your eyes are open to more and more, your spirit is protected and you are better equipped to handle what the world may throw at you while sharing and spreading that light to all.

Prayer and conversation with God; Staying connected is the life line for walking with the Father and trust in all He has planned for you. You were not meant to do this life on your own especially when triggers, past experiences and life try to lead you astray or show you that that which you thought was coming isn’t going to be. Jesus demonstrated a life of peace is possible by doing just that. He stayed connected with the Father. He never let issues or accusations ruffle him. 

Where we as humans may go wrong is that we set a plan and give it to God as a list, often times forgetting that He is our lead, and if we don’t converse with Him and let Him guide and illuminate where we need to be we get disappointed when things don’t go our way but it’s not supposed to be like that. GodFather, Son and Holy Spirit is our ultimate desire.

Yes, we can have expectations as to how we want our lives to go but we must remember that  God’s plan is greater and while there are times we share with Him our hopes and dreams, He sees the full picture  and sets us on the right course of greatness that will be much more than we ever could imagine. In the end leading to the Glory of God being witnessed in each and everyone of us and isn’t that how it’s meant to be?

So as you go into the New year, plan with God, go ahead and dream big, because God is big, and he has a much bigger plan than you can envisage. Your expectations are desires that he has birthed in you. Trust Him for the action plan, because expectations are set in motion by doing. Follow His leading when doors open, fly when you feel the wind of the Holy spirit beneath your wings of imagination so that the road you follow will lead you down the path of growth that is positive for your life and you will soon find that the doors that are meant to be opened will be within your sight and you will be filled with the light of God that will shine into your life and all those who you come across. You are unstoppable. Expect great things May you soar Higher in 2023. You are blessed because Jesus already paid the price.
