Whenever the word prosperity is mentioned, there is always an array of opinions, both in Christian and secular circles. I wonder why?
From a biblical point, prosperity is actually God’s idea. Look at the following scripture:
You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
– Deuteronomy 8:18[ KJV]
I really would like to say that the question we should ask is why does God want us to prosper?
It is right there in Deuteronomy 8:18. God is a God of covenants, he loves to keep his promises. This compromise was given to Abraham and repeated to Isaac and Jacob. These are our Patriarch of faith and our trust and faith in Jesus Christ qualify us to be partakers of the same so here are a few scriptures to help you remember His promises that fall in line.
