I went for a walk one morning and I had the impression to walk on the right side of the gate that I normally fear to walk when it’s still dark.
Today, the consciousness of the fact that the angels are encamped around me dawned on me. Yes, the assurance that God was walking with me gave me the strength and comfort to know that I was not walking alone.
See, the previous night, I had listened to my friend Evans talking about the passing of his wife and how brave she was, and it was then that I asked the Lord, ‘Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement that brings us peace was laid on Jesus and by the stripes of Jesus we are healed. Why then are Christians not walking in the healing they should? And why are preachers succumbing to Illness? Why Lord, why?’
Then there was silence.
As I continued down the path still deep in thought I heard Him say, ‘You look from the outside but I look from the inside.’
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” –1 Samuel 16:7 ESV
I am not judging anybody, but that’s what I heard, that faith is the tenacity to believe that the impossible is possible with God. Yes, with God all things are possible, it’s written in His word and we all know that His word does not lie.
So lately I’ve been looking around and seeing that so many preachers are coming to illness and God reminded me that everybody’s faith and will is individualistic. God, we must remember, has to honor where there is faith, and he does not violate our will.
For example, a relative of mine looked like she was on her deathbed.
Her daughter had moved into her house and they were actually looking for morphine for comfort and pain and I thought, maybe this is God’s will for her to go home now. I really didn’t think that she could be healed. I shared this with my sister Kezia to which she responded, ‘let’s go pray’ , and I thought to myself, I’m not sure she can be healed. Of course, I didn’t say it out loud but I did think about it.
That was in December when we went to see her and it was at that time that my sister shared a powerful word not just of comfort, but of healing.
Guys, this woman had cancerous tumors all over her right leg and in her groin, and lo and behold she made it through to Christmas then New Year and as we speak, she is still alive today and the tumors are shrinking. She’s been responding to healing and God reminded me that I had to honor the faith that my sister had that she can be healed for it to be so.
Those words humbled me and I said, ‘You’re right Lord. Faith is the tenacity to believe that the impossible is possible with God.’
What are you believing in God for this season?
All you need is faith the size of a mustard seed and we can add power of agreement to that because where two agree, it is agreed in heaven!
If you are a child of God , remember you already have a majority because the Holy Spirit is in you! Whatever you are going through, be strong in the power of His might and stand firm in the strength of the Lord Jesus! Yes, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
I can do all things because Christ makes me strong! Let that be your confession go look it up in your Bible and hide that Word in your heart! The LORD bless you.– Phil 4:13 [EASY]
