Lost And Found

A few weeks ago I looked at my left hand and noticed one of my copper bracelets that I wear all the time was missing. I couldn’t imagine how and when it went missing. I looked everywhere, at home and at work. I went several times to the lost-and-found at work to ask if someone had turned it in but nothing turned up. Still, I kept hope alive by declaring it was temporarily missing and that the angels would find it and put it where I could see it. 

It had been about 4 weeks since it went missing then, today as I was rummaging in my jewelry drawer as I do routinely every morning, there it was in the midst of my earrings! Can you believe it? I am in that drawer every morning and how it got there I can only accredit it to my angels on assignment.

This brings me to my topic of today, Lost and Found.

A long time ago, a servant of God taught me about the ministry of angels.

They elaborated how most of us are not aware of the angelic ministry that we have as children of God; our angels are sitting around bored for lack of what to do. That was something I have never forgotten. 

As God’s child, I have angels who work round the clock for me and so do you. 

We are never to give up on something misplaced, lost, or stolen; but instead, say “the angels will find it and put it where I can see it.” 

Yes, one is to keep giving thanks every time the thought of the lost item pops up in the mind and to stay joyful in thanksgiving. 

Remember, the angels assigned to each of us are very efficient and better bodyguards than the human ones that we can see with our eyes. They have a direct charge from the Almighty God:

• For God will tell his angels to keep you safe. They will protect you wherever you go [ERV] – Psalm 91:11
• The LORD rules from his throne in heaven. He rules as King over everything. You who are the LORD’s angels, you strong angels who do what He tells you to do, praise the LORD [ERV] – Psalm 103:19-20
• Who makes his angels spirits: his minister a flaming fire. – Psalm 104:4

It is necessary to be aware that God is Daddy, our real loving Father who is very mindful of his children, and being a King goes with all the royal trimmings just as we see earthly kings do. 

A king always has servants and bodyguards for themselves and for the royal family too. 

So it is with our God, only with Him, it is a higher dimension, more power-packed. 

Yes, we don’t see with our physical eyes because they are spirits (Psa 104: 4) but they are just as real, powerful, and more effective.

Therefore, when you can not find something, believe in your spirit, and go ahead and use your own words that line up with God’s word and mixed with faith in what you want the angels to do. They hearken and execute the word of God from your mouth. 

Sometimes I get fast results, sometimes it takes a while but I keep hope alive in my spirit.

Case and point: years ago, I had a Toyota Corolla car and I went to visit my friend that I used to pray with. 

When we finished and she escorted me to my car, she ran back to the house and came back with a bottle of anointing oil, informing me she got an impression to pray over my car and anoint it. I wholeheartedly agreed and once she was done, I headed to the hospital to visit a relative with some members of my family.

We got there, I packed the car and we went and visited the patient, prayed, and came back out. As I looked to see where I had packed the car, I noticed it wasn’t there. I just calmly exclaimed my car is gone! The people I was with didn’t understand what I just said. 

We kept walking towards the packing and when I said it again, that is when they realized and immediately went into panic mode. I calmed them down because I had peace in my mind that the situation was under control. We prayed for the angels to do their assignment and demanded Satan release the car back then we went and reported at the police station that the car was missing/stolen. 

The Policeman had a grim look on his face when he declared Toyotas are one of the number one preferences for car thieves. I wasn’t moved, I declared it would be found and less than twelve hours later, I got a call to go to the central police station that my car had been located just outside the city!

I blessed the LORD and gave him praise for my friend’s obedience to the prompting she received from the Holy Spirit put protection on the car! Amazing grace!

So you see.. don’t give up on anything you miss, or if the devil attacks by stealing it, declare and demand he bring it back. Put the angels on assignment and most of all, declare while you wait that, ‘It is temporarily missing’. 

Do you know why? There is another provision of the Word of God, and that is, you can demand restitution for anything Satan has caused to be stolen or lost.

• Prov. 6:30-31 You can almost excuse a thief if he steals to feed his own family. But if he’s caught, he still has to pay back what he stole sevenfold; his punishment and fine will cost him greatly. [TPT]

You know Satan is a thief (John 10:10) his primary goal is to wear you out, discourage you and cause you to give up or stop trusting in God. Don’t do it even for a second! 

You wear him out by declaring God’s word and let the angels deal with him.
